Tui joins the Pest Free Kaipātiki team as PFK's new Community Activator.
Tui has a background in community building and engagement. She has run a number of different programs, events and conferences in the environmental, social and philanthropic space. These include Love NZ Land and Water Roadshow and more recently the Tīkapa Moana Oceans Lab.
Having grown up in the country Tui has always had a strong passion for the environment and our native flora and fauna. Now living on the North Shore she is excited about working with local community in this space. She has worked a lot with youth and is excited to bring this experience to her role at PFK. She loves the community built around PFK and is incredibly excited to continue to build and expand the PFK community and connection within the community.
Tui is also a coach, qualified mediator, and yoga teacher. She is currently completing a 3 year Somatic Experiencing training and has and continues to train with leading psychotherapists deepening her understanding of human development.
