Pest Free Kaipātiki Restoration Society (PFK) is holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, 11 November at the Northcote Birkenhead Yacht Club, Birkenhead Wharf, Hinemoa St, Birkenhead, Auckland 0626.
At this meeting, along with a review of the PFK’s business and financial reports, the PFK Board Members and Officers are elected. The Board is the governing body of PFK and carries ultimate responsibility for its activities; serving as a Board Member or Officer is an important role. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team providing strategic oversight to Pest Free Kaipātiki, making sure the society’s work is effective and innovative, and that it continues to work towards delivering our vision of a pest-free future.
Board Candidates must be Pest Free Kaipātiki members. We welcome nominations from individuals with the skills required to fulfill the responsibilities of a Board Member or Officer of the Society.
We are especially seeking candidates who have skills/experience in managing and developing not-for-profit and conservation groups and also who represent a range of PFK conservation goals and Kaipātiki areas. Some areas of expertise that may be useful include but are not limited to:
People and team management processes and planning
Communications & marketing
Capacity building, volunteer engagement
Conservation planning
Fundraising
Law
Nominations should be submitted by 10pm, Monday 4 November.
